RiseServers.net Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of all services provided by RiseServers.net, including Virtual Private Servers (VPS), game servers, dedicated servers, and other hosting services (“Services”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope

This AUP applies to all customers and users of RiseServers.net Services, including:

Virtual Private Servers (VPS)

Game Servers

Dedicated Servers

Any other hosting or network services provided by RiseServers.net

2. Shared Resources & Fair Usage

All VPS services are provided with shared CPU resources. Performance may vary depending on the load of other customers on the same physical host.

Each VPS is provided with 500 Mbps unmetered “fair-share” bandwidth. While there is no hard data cap, excessive use that negatively impacts other customers may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or termination of Services.

Customers are expected to use CPU, RAM, and bandwidth resources responsibly.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, including but not limited to:

3.1 Illegal Activity

Hosting, distributing, or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Engaging in hacking, malware distribution, phishing, or unauthorized access to systems.

Conducting illegal activities in violation of local, state, federal, or international laws.

3.2 Resource Abuse

Cryptocurrency mining of any kind.

Excessive use of CPU, RAM, or bandwidth that interferes with other customers.

Running botnets, spamming, or automated mass mailing.

3.3 Prohibited Ports & Protocols

Use of SMTP ports 25 and 587 for outbound email is prohibited.

Any unauthorized attempts to bypass network restrictions or security controls.

3.4 Content Restrictions

Hosting, distributing, or promoting adult content or pornography.

Content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or infringes on others’ rights.

Activities that threaten the integrity or security of our network or other customers.

3.5 Network Disruption

Denial-of-Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, network flooding, or other actions that disrupt normal operations.

Port scanning, probing, or attempting to attack other customers or external networks.

4. Monitoring & Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor activity to ensure compliance with this AUP.

Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of Services without refund.

In cases of illegal activity, we may report your account to law enforcement authorities.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity originating from your account, whether authorized or unauthorized.

Maintain secure passwords and account credentials.

Ensure that all software, applications, and services hosted on our infrastructure comply with this AUP.

Notify us immediately of any suspected security breaches or unauthorized activity.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RiseServers.net from any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from your violation of this AUP.

7. Changes to AUP

RiseServers.net may update this AUP at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
